Had a short trip to the library just now.We made it in time, before it close at 5. Brought the 2 little kids along to borrow some books so that we won't be so bored during the long holiday.I'm supposed to be going through the lecture notes, not enjoying the vivid and engaging Kite Runner the whole day.Massy called in the evening and she kinda reminded me to start with the revision soon.Errr, like NOW.

By the way,we bought BK since Ibu had really wanted to try the mouth-watering Spicy Whopper for the past week.I'm not really a big fan of BK except for the Croissan'wich for breakfast. The burgers look least appetizing.Way different from those shown in their cut-out coupons and TV-ads.But I have to admit that I just gobble them up in times of hunger. Not so cerewet about it. Plus, the cheesesticks taste so funny. But I still manage to pop them into my mouth.:)

And I really find the service provided by BK,average. Not up to my standard.lol!Somehow,I'm trying to relate it to what I've learnt on service quality standards from a few of the modules in school and as an ex-CSO for a fast food restaurant.I'm not really a demanding and picky customer when compared to some others who are worst off than I am.

Well, the wrappers of BK's burgers all look almost the same and I seriously don't understand the markings on it that I have to unwrapped every single one of them before I could find my mushroom swiss, etc. Not really a big deal though but can be irritating at times.I could only find Whopper easily as it's the biggest burger ever in BK.And I often got the wrong orders especially if I didn't dine-in.I supposed the service crew are just so confused with the 'identification' of the burgers too.Hehe...:)

Wait.

And they hardly...SMILE!!! Your customers will DEFINITELY feel good if you serve them with a sincere smile, you know.

My statements may only be true to a certain extent as the service quality vary for different outlets. But rest assured,I'll still continue to patronise BK.

You see,I always have faith in Mac D.i'm lovin' it.;)

In the words of TW:Our Poly Family Tree.Multi-racial indeed because there's a Sikh,a Malay,a Chinese and an Indian.:)

It may be the last day of school today.Even then,I do hope it doesn't mark the end of the precious friendship I have with these people because I really want it to last for a lifetime.3 years and I'm still counting. In Year 1,they started to call me Sakinah Sak and that's when the other friends in polytechnic follow suit.It may sound so euuww..but I've lived by 'Sak' till now.

Here's a random list of our daily activities in school:

1.We shared moments of candid together.

2.We shared tutorial answers and lecture notes should any of us happen to fall asleep in class.

3.We loved to comment on other people. From head to toe.And talk as if we're the only perfect angels.

4.We always rush to complete projects if we are in the same group.Always did it at the very last minute.I repeat,ALWAYS.But hey,but we still manage to score despite being very inefficient.

5.We simply do up our presentation script based on the report.Copy and paste.Gurseet is especially famous for doing this.

6.At times,we made up stories just to save ourselves from any troubles.Still,we do feel guilty towards the lecturers.

7.We are a bunch of very clumsy, lame people and just love to laugh at one another's funny acts.

8.We helped one another in times of trouble need. No complaints.True friends indeed.lol.:)

Most of the time,I could hardly stop myself from laughing way too much at their pretty lame acts.Their lame acts or my selenge-ness?Well anyway, I'm definitely going to miss my dearies and those times we had together at the every corner of SBM,NYP for the past 3 years.Oh well,I shall not be too emotional for now. We will have the chances to meet up once we graduate.Hehe:->

I can't wait for IB project presentation to be over. It's tomorrow anyway.Have been staring blankly at the presentation slides for the past 15 minutes but just didn't manage to do up the script. The act of laziness,I believe.

Anyway,my grades for written tests and projects this semester somehow encourage me to put in better effort for the exams.:-)Was definitely better off than last semester where I can only put up a fake smile whenever I got the results back.Oh well,I shall not relive those moments of despair. There is a definite need to look forward and perform well for the upcoming papers. Now,I'm plainly giving advice to myself. And of course,to my fellow friends too.

Doing the final year, final semester. And it's one more day left to the last day of school.Only then can I fully concentrate on revising for the exams.5days straight.Seriously,no joke.It was a real heart pain to know that the marketing friends have only 2 papers to sit for. What's more,4 modules are both qualitative and quantitative ones.Believe me,I'll definitely get mentally drained by the 4th day.And here's where I need to get the memory booster ready.Wish everything will turn out fine.I'll need to pray real hard for NO brain freeze in the icy not cold examination hall.

I will now go through the IFT lecture notes.I hope to have fun.

TW,Happy 20th Birthday!Celebrations after exams ya!:)

It's my favourite uncle's 49 birthday today. Why favourite?I'm not being bias, you know. It's just that he still treats me like his own daughter, even when I have reached an age we can all agree is not terribly adorable.:)And when I was at a really not cute age,he was the only uncle who loved to bring me jalan-jalan.Anywhere.

1.The Zoo (used to get free tickets from Dad)
2.Jurong Bird Park (boring yet fun.???)
3.Sungai Buloh Nature Reserve(believe me,i used to love trekking.lol.)
4.Sembawang Park(as always)
5.Science Centre(I'm only interested in the playgrounds,then)
6.His workplace at Changi Airport @ ST (it's no longer there)
7.Bowling at Kallang & SAFRA Yishun (he taught me bowling)
8.Sim Lim Square(Cheap computer stuffs!!Anw,he's my DR.Computer. hehehe!)

and the list goes on...

My aunt used to take care of me when my mum was working. We were so close (and we still are)that I called her Mak.My uncle,Ayah. And I still do!!

A short and sweet message for Ayah Othman Bin Taib:

Happy 49th Birthday,Ayah!Semoga Allah panjangkan usia Ayah, moga dimurahkan rezeki, sentiasa dikurniakan kesihatan yang baik dan bahagia disamping keluarga tersayang.:)

In the midst of completing the IB report,I took a couple of minutes to do this quiz.

I never gave much thought to how people think of me personally-or any thought, for that matter.Had rather be neutral.Well,I guess I have to read a couple of the underlying meanings for the quiz above.

But,do you agree with my seduction style?lol.:)

It just occured to me...to have these thoughts written down.

In life, there is a need to treasure relationships we have with one another.Be it with family, friends, peers,..anyone.You can be nice to anyone you meet.Oh,but please don't be a hypocrite. And of course,I don't mean that you need to live all your life praising people, etc.

We not only can hurt someone feelings with our words but it can also be quite obvious in our actions. As far as possible, one should avoid hurting people's feelings. It's not easy though but we need to put in extra effort to help prevent conflict or any other unwanted situations. And believe me,it is not so easy for one to seek the forgiveness too.I'm sure that you'd agree with me on that statement.Well, have you ever find it difficult to forgive someone although he/she has sincerely apologise?Do you remember those times when you were furious, sad and hurt all at the same time over someone's attitude towards you??You knew the answer yourself!

And yes,it is a positive way of thinking to forgive and forget but not every single soul in this world find it easy to deal with it in such manner. Because I believe that the person who was hurt would always remember about it throughout his lifetime.Right.

If you're happy and comfortable with someone,do let he/she knows.A way to appreciate people. But if it's otherwise, the best way is to open up,be frank and tell that someone politely.Be nice to others if you want to be treated in the same manner too. It's all in the matter of living with respect, sincerity and appreciating those people that you come across in life.

I have to admit it here, that there are times when I wasn't careful with my choice of words and actions towards others.I may realise my mistake apologise to the other party but there are times where I don't realise the mistakes that I've made at all.

To anyone who happened to stumble upon this mundane blog of mine, having to read this entry and who knows me personally,I would just like to apologise should I offend you in any way.We humans are no perfect.

Finally,QM is done.I knew just how much the group dealt with the last minute changes.

1)Change the proposed company 4 days before the presentation.
2)Do up the report and ppt slides a day before.

Worse still,

3)Edited and finalised both report and ppt slides 2 hours before the presentation.

VERY LAST MINUTE WORK.

And luckily the presentation just now was ok-lah.Didn't prepare the script though. And it was so im-promp-tu that I kept going erm..erm..erm...Oh yes,Madeline and I kept laughing and making fun at the others for their presentations. She even said that that the 3 of us;namely Faeza,Herself & I, have the same not-so-bad habit when attending presentations.:)

Well,2 more to go.CAA & IB.
